Who is the true momin?

The true believer (Mumin) is the one who is annihilated in Prophet Mohammad ﷺ and has the essence of Prophet himself.

Everybody recognizes Muslim but only Allah Almighty and His Prophet Mohammad recognize the true believer.

The true believer (Mumin) only follows Allah’s will. He does not ask anything for himself or his family, rather always bows his head before the will of Allah.

Only a true believer can remain steadfast in times of ordeals or even distress.

A Muslim awaits Allah, but Allah awaits the true believer (Mumin).

Allah passes the true believer through agony just to purify him.

The true believer gets dreams from the realm of Absolute Divine Unity.

A true believer does not desire for ranks or eminence in the court of Allah. The rank which is awarded by Allah Himself brings eminence and nobility while that which is gained on asking results in humiliation.

The Journey of Becoming True Believer

The journey of becoming a true believer from a Muslim is, in fact, the inward journey from verifying the Islamic creed of purity to testifying the creed of testimony (i.e from Kalimah Tayyibah)

لَا اِلہَ اِلَّا اللّٰہُ مُحَمَّدٌ رَسُوۡلُ اللّٰہَ

📖 “La illaha ilAllahoo Mohammad-ur-Rasoolullah” — “None is worthy of worship except Allah and Mohammad is His Messenger”

أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا ٱللَّٰهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهُ وَرَسُولُهُ

📖 “Ash-hadu an-la illaha ilAllahoo wahdahoo la shareeka Lahoo wa ash-hadu anna Muhammadan Abduhoo wa Rasooluhoo” — “I bear witness that there is none worthy of worship except Allah, He is One and has no partners and I bear witness that Mohammad is His beloved slave and Messenger”

Mumin is Perfect from Outward and Inward

The true believer is perfect in his outward as well as inward. Outwardly, he lives according to the pattern prevailing in the world but inwardly he has attained the Divine Essence.
Every action of the true believer whether eating or drinking, sleeping or awakening rather every movement is only for the sake of Allah.

Ordeals of Mumin are Trial from Allah

Any inconvenience faced by the true believer is his trial from Allah while that for a worldly person is an affliction or perdition.

Characteristics of Mumin

The true believer is so absorbed in the Divine Essence that he does not even notice the ordeals coming in the way of Allah.

The true believer stays humble and submissive in all conditions in the court of Allah. He always considers that he is nothing even if he attains the highest ranks.

The true believer abides by the Sharia more, so he becomes closer to Allah.
